This work is part of a large group of paintings created by Alberto Sughi in the early 1970s, known as the Ciclo Verde (Green Cycle). The cycle, whose title was its essential component, a clear reference to the color of the landscape that is so striking in all the works, coincided with the artist's first stay in the Carpineta countryside.
