Paolini Giulio (Genoa, 1940)
Giulio Paolini studied at the Institute of Graphic and Photographic Arts in Turin. Artists tend to analyze the structure of art through photographs, reproductions, actors, collages, placing themselves in a dialectical position in the history of images. He participated in important art exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale, Documenta in Kassel, and in 1964 he held his first solo exhibition at the Galleria La Salita in Rome. Recent exhibitions include the Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Palazzo Forte di Verona, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, Macro di Roma. From 1969 onwards he worked on the creation of numerous theatrical sets, such as R. Wagner's project for Valkyries at the San Carlo Theater in Naples.
