Emilio Notte (Ceglie Messapica, 1891 - Naples, 1982) Emilio Notte was an Italian painter, exponent of the futurist movement. In 1906 he went to Naples, welcomed by Vincenzo Volpe and succeeded Domenico Morelli in the direction of the Academy of Fine Arts. His teacher in Florence was Adolfo De Carolis, where he also frequented Giovanni Fattori's studio. In Florence and Prato Notte he met and established important friendships, with Giovanni Michelucci, Attilio Cavallini, Galileo Chini and at the De Carolis studio he also met Gabriele D'Annunzio.
