(Syracuse, 2 September 1929). In 1959 he participated in the 8th Quadrennial in Rome. In Florence he was part of the "Gruppo 70", starting a supportive friendship with Giuseppe Chiari. The attention to Giacomo Balla, Marcel Duchamp and Lucio Fontana and to the links between science and image constitute the basis of the work which, in the sixties, will be managed by Guido Le Noci of the Galleria Apollinaire in Milan and by Gaspero del Corso of the Galleria L' Obelisk of Rome. He has taught "Materials Technology and Laboratory Research" since 1969 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and was subsequently appointed to the chair of Painting. In 2001 he was present at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the "Collection of 20th Century Artists at the Farnesina" in curated by Maurizio Calvesi who in 2007-08, again with a Color Weight, invited him to the "Journey through Italian art - one hundred works from the Farnesina Collection" a traveling exhibition in Eastern Europe and Latin America. In 2004 at the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona he participated in the exhibition "Riflessi nell'arte" and at the XXI Sulmona Prize, invited by Giorgio di Genova, he received the First Prize. In March 2007 an anthological exhibition in the Convento del Carmine in Marsala, headquarters of the National Contemporary Painting Exhibition Authority with the presentation of Sergio Troisi[5]. In the months of July, August and September 2010 the anthological exhibition at the Torre di Guevara in Ischia with presentation in the catalog by Massimo Bignardi, published by Le Rive di Cartaromana.
